Writing Art
Papers from the forums held at West Space on 1 and 15 September 1996. "What's wrong with art criticism?" " Which comes first, the art or the writing?" This publication acts as an independent source for the discussion on writing about contemporary art. The content and design of the publication is orientated around the art practitioner, with five of the seven contributions coming from visual artists/writers. The challenges and contexts surrounding art writing are explored in a personal and accessible document.
