“Waking of the Insects”

Exploring location through sound, Waking of the Insects is a multi-channel sound installation comprising of 100 small high frequency speakers spread over the floor, walls and ceiling to create the sensation similar to many tiny metallic insects climbing and scratching inside and over the surface of the room. The room will be accessed and exited by two cardboard tunnels through which the audience will crawl and arrive inside an almost fully darkened room to be surrounded by an immersive and visceral sound space.
