ubiquitous/anyone : a love letter

There’s the wall. There’s art on every side of the wall. Where are you? What are you looking at > it is easier to be the spectator than the actor….

I hate the wall, I want to tear it down.

My friends and I carefully construct the wall (we don’t want it to hurt anyone).
Suburban red brick, a feature of Edithvale. Single story houses, wide yards, enough for three cars.

Lived on a main road, always liked fried eggs. Bedroom at the front, bedroom window onto main road. During summer cars backed up - right down the road, families from Springvale, queuing to get to the beach in their wagons. Expelling gas, hovering heat and top forty.

I’m on the other side of the wall, in my room.. looking for cracks.

/ this is a love letter / dedicated not to the Other side / but to Something Else.
