Two and Two is a site of formal investigation. It is the documentation exploring the process of composition. This process is defined by a logical set of rules predetermined by the artist. Such a methodical system is established to reveal the possible combinations of a geometric pattern. This pattern and all its arrangements are presented using video and paper collage. Dufty displays an intuitive and sophisticated approach to her materials and to the conceptual and aesthetic narrative contained within her work.

Angela Dufty completed her Visual Arts studies in Canberra. She has a mixed media practice that investigates both 2 and 3 dimensions. Some of her public sculpture commissions can be seen in the ACT. Angela has been in group shows in Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney and Newcastle. This is her first solo show within a gallery space.
