That which is Below corresponds to that which is Above, and that which is Above corresponds to that which is Below, to accomplish the miracle of the One Thing. At the base of the One Thing was the colloidal cosmos of auto-eroticism. It was the future in its most concrete intensity. A vast honeycomb of passageways, each throbbing with the vitality of an unfamiliar wilderness, each pulsating with the steaming haze of the embryonic swamp, each teeming with infinitesimal globs of perceptive existence, each enclosed with an unhurried affecting, scarcely slithering fungus-like shell, which as tomorrows yearning skimmed along the membrane walls observed all that passed by, these were retuning as the receptor structures of the primordial womb.

INRI CRISTO is Jesus Christ reincarnated. Leader of a revolutionary movement, followed by the fearless, INRI CRISTO defies certainties and pre-established values. Born in Brazil he is well known for his many appearances in the media of Brazil and other countries. “Nobody is obliged to believe, but I am the First-born Son of GOD, the ancestor of humanity, the first ape that was born without tail, Adam, and reincarnated as Noah, Abraham, Moses, David etc. afterwards as Jesus and now as INRI.”

Sean Peoples is a Melbourne based artist who is fascinated by INRI CRISTO. Alongside his solo practice, Peoples also collaborates with Veronica Kent as The Telepathy Project.
