Small Worlds
Emily Ferretti
10 Sept → 2 Oct 2010

Small Worlds was an exhibition of recent works on paper by Emily Ferretti.

Ferretti’s practice investigates the art of the everyday by rendering domestic objects and scenes with an equal measure of fantasy and documentary. Small Worlds was a project that extended Ferretti’s oil painting practice by incorporating collage, watercolour and pencil on paper.

Emily Ferretti completed a Diploma in Visual arts from RMIT in 2002 and Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours at VCA in 2006. Since finishing study she has consistently exhibited in artist run and commercial spaces, undertaken residencies, received grants, and been short-listed into many prizes. Ferretti is currently represented by Sophie Gannon Gallery, Melbourne, and is a studio artist at Gertrude Street Contemporary Art Spaces.
