Sherry McLane Alejos was born in Mexico  and lives and works in Melbourne. After recently completing her BFA (Hon) at the VCA, McLane Alejos has taken part in several group and solo exhibitions such as Open Secrecy at the Library Artspace, Erotica at Spillioti in Athens, the Murdoch Travelling Fellowship at VCA Margaret Lawrence Gallery, the Melbourne Connection, an exhibition of Melbourne artists in Mexico and The Devolution Project, a West Space Project that toured to The University of Southern Queensland.
