Melbourne purveyors of junkyard theatre, The Suitcase Royale, and Melbourne’s dodgiest art makers, Safari Team, couple up for a one night bonanza at West Space! Come to the one-night-only interactive live green screen discothèque where they will try and make all your dance dreams come true.

Safari Team (Lillian O’Neil, Blaine Cooper and Jon Oldmeadow) is an artist collaborative that has been working across disciplines since 2005. Pursuing a high-energy, DIY aesthetic, the trio utilises a broad range of mediums including video, installation, performance, collage, drawing and sculpture. Inspired by Gilbert & George’s concept of ‘Art for All’, Safari Team aims to produce work that can be appreciated by a wide and varied audience.

The Suitcase Royale is a Rag ‘n’ Bone band of three from Melbourne that have been creating and performing their unique style of ‘Junkyard Theatre’ since mid 2004. Their style incorporates a variety of performance styles and artforms including: performance, dance, puppetry, text, set design and stop animation. The Suitcase Royale also compose and perform original music for their shows.
