On the field of Truth, on the battlefield of life (II) is the second installment in an ongoing project based upon readings of the Bhagavad Gita. This particular study draws heavily upon Huxley’s Eyeless in Gaza, specifically the central protagonist’s journal entries of 1934, which illustrate one man’s search for meaning in life and the quest for real liberty. In the interplay of these texts and at the crossroads of the self, Sandrasegar locates echoes of Arjuna’s beseech to Krishna; ‘Ah! Yet again recount…’
