As a physical and psychological space that intersects sameness and difference with gender and sexuality, the handshake offers a range of possibilities and interpretations.
Harding’s current work, ‘Shake’, uses a mixture of visuals that present male greetings and architecture to play with signals.
What does this initial contact mean to the participants and what is it saying to the observer?
