No Reasonable Offer Refused
Kelly Doley, George Egerton-Warburton, Agatha Gothe-Snape, Juliet Rowe and Christopher Sciuto
21 Sept → 13 Oct 2012

No Reasonable Offer Refused brings together object-based and performance projects that explore if, and how, it is possible to reshape acts of commerce and exchange. This involves gestures that do not exclude the artist from the activities of the market, but instead actively use this system as a medium that can be negotiated. Curated by Liang Luscombe and Patrice Sharkey, the exhibition features work by Kelly Doley, George Egerton-Warburton, Agatha Gothe-Snape, and Juliet Rowe and Christopher Sciuto.

Kelly Doley

George Egerton-Warburton

Agatha Gothe-Snape’s work engages with the politics and poetics of language and other embodied knowledge as it is performed interpersonally and is creative of our relationships with each other, with art and architecture and other histories. Rooted in performance, her work operates intuitively and is generated via improvisation and collaboration.

Juliet Rowe

Christopher Sciuto is a mixed-media visual artist whose work engages with contemporary cultural and social issues; in particular polarised subcultures and issues of sexuality.
