TROUGH faggot party hosts an installation which reduces all to the lowest common denominator of the big throbbing bassline: what's his name, what's his number and how do I get him?

Several artists combine anarchitecture, archival video, performance and photography to explore the contradictions of collective individualisation at the homosexual discotheque.

But there is something larger at stake; individual disco antics have collective risks. These risks call upon new correlations of meaning and cooperation that are neither collective (them) nor singular (man), but instead create new forms of representation. They demand an open-ended and organic solidarity founded in difference.
