Just.Say.Yes. is a participatory experience for one. Inspired by the lounge room feeling like Wembley Stadium and an undeniable need to connect with one another, this wee world is fiercely private and unspeakably shared. There’s some music, some dancing and some lights – it just depends what you decide to do with it…

Bec Reid has a long history of community based arts practice and regularly facilitates large scale participatory projects. A WAAPA graduate, Bec was Artistic Director of acclaimed dance company, Stompin, between 2001 and 2006. Bec has worked with the Melbourne International Arts Festival, Tracks, Back to Back Theatre, The Business, Die Roten Punkte, Barry Morgan and his World of Organs, NICA and the Australian Youth Dance Festival. Associate Producer on the 2006 and 2008 Next Wave Festivals, Bec created a dance program and curated performance events, 180 Seconds in Heaven or Hell. Bec has produced for Dancehouse, Arts House and was Producer, Arts and Community at the Footscray Community Arts Centre for the past three years. Currently Associate Director of 100% Melbourne at the City of Melbourne, Bec is also a key creative in Tristan Meecham’s Fun Run and board member of Ausdance Victoria.
