The Third Wave of Stupa Building
20.03.09 – 11.04.09 Gallery 2 So there is a third wave of smaller Stupas in every street corner/ they are under siege/ its a reassertment/ they blast pirith chanting/ but for any other person living in, of any other religion they will say, ‘what is this? This is noise pollution’. But no one seems to be taking much notice about it. I myself being a Buddhist, I myself sometimes think, I mean I live at a fair distance and still it is so loud. It drowns out my radio when I turn it on. So it is kind of a bit over-the-top…
