Fassih Keiso works across media including digital and analog photography, film and digital video, installation and performance. His work deals with issues of the human body, the impact of technology and contemporary culture on humanity. It also directs awareness to the impact of globalization on art production, and reflects on issues of identity, dislocation, and East and West.

Generations explores the local community and myths that embody aspects of our culture and highlight the diversity in our society, and explores the impact of 21st century politics and culture on humanity and art production. Technically, the work explores the impact of digital tools on current art photography production, highlighting the transition that occurs in photography from analogue to digital by adopting and mixing the two techniques.

??Keiso’s work has been shown widely nationally and internationally, at locations including Artspace, CCP, 24HR ART & CAST, and P.S.1 /MOMA, Pelham Art Centre, ICP in New York, and in the Middle East and Asia. He obtained a PhD in Visual Arts from SCA and Master of Fine Arts from VCA. He has received several awards including the Samstag Scholarship.
