Free workshop in lateral approaches to audiovisual art: light objects, shadow puppets, circuit bending and more

Ceri recently completed a Masters of Art in Public Space at RMIT, focusing on the making of temporary art as a form of social scaffold for people to share knowledge and experience. ?http://www.publicassembly.com.au ? ?

Van Sowerwine, director of award winning short film, Clara, makes works based around stop motion animation. She is half of Vanilla, a visual/sound combo where she uses miniature sets and shadow puppets to make live visuals. ?http:/www.vansowerine.com ? ?

Anthony is a landcape architect, listener and av improviser. As one half of Helmethead, he utilizes an ELMO ev500 to give form to the un-speakable, psychedelic Id of the duo’s live performances.? http://flickr.com/photos/imagen/

Folkshop is an ongoing initiative coordinated by the Stream Collective in conjunction with RMIT Union Arts and West Space. ?The aim of Folkshop is to promote participation, inspiration and creation in and of AV art.
