Inspired by the intimacies and effects of working and living amongst Melbourne’s art scene, Cover Versions recreates contemporary and local artists' exhibitions as a suite of small paintings. It is an artist’s d.i.y guide on how to be a consumer, producer and curator simultaneously.

Since graduating from BFA Honours at the VCA, Kez Hughes has recently returned from exhibiting in two group exhibitions in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Previous solo shows include Paintings of Exhibitions That I Went To , at TCB, Melbourne and Escaperspective at George Paton Gallery, Melbourne.
