“A bright clear shape”

Anticipating that first breath, his body repositioned itself in his mouth, up against his teeth. Surfacing, a bright clear shape gathered behind his eyes. Craig Burgess’ photographic and object-based practice is centred on the interrogation of structures that divide or enclose. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Art from VCA, and in 2011 was awarded the West Space VCA Award.
